Bullet vacuum "Kenmore Commander" post war ~ Tom's Candy Jar
My favorite find this week ,1940s "Kenmore Commander" Bullet vacuum Cleaner!
introduced in 1939 , sold through 1950's, followed the post war trend of household objects designed of bullets or bombs, a subtle reference to USA military might,..just love stuff like this!

Hi Gina Sweetie...
I found you while searching for a Tom's jar. My grand daddy had a Texaco station for many years, and he has since passed. My Daddy is going to be having a birthday soon, and I so wanted to find him a Tom's jar of some sorts. I see you have both a Blue Ribbon and a Tom's jar. Can you email me and tell me how much you are asking for them? If you still have them? Oh what a treasure. (Could these be mailed?)

I will be watching your blog now that I know you have such wonderful items. Please pop by and say hello as well.
Country hugs, Sherry
